The directors and staff at CERT are committed to and believe in delivering only the highest quality service possible. The company will not take on any work that it feels will compromise its quality.
The company invest heavily in staff training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD). All staff are qualified as SFEDI accredited and IBA trained business advisors, professional trainers and assessors.
The Community Economic Regeneration Team Ltd is an Investor in People an award presented to Rick Keightley and Neil King by John MacCarthy in 2003. The company passed the standard on its first attempt with highlighted exemplar methods of best practise for staff development and communication. The company was reassessed in 2006 and again passed with flying colours.
The company was also one of the first organisations in the Humber to adopt and achieve the Customer First award for excellent business support services. Again the company passed with highlighted areas of best practice most notably in their approach to partnerships and in ensuring customers obtain the most appropriate support. Reassessed in 2005 the company was judged to have upheld and exceeded the standard particular best practise was the use of the company's in-house database and intranet. In 2007 the company once again were judged to have consistently maintained the standard for Customer First.
The Community Economic Regeneration Team was invited as one of only 14 exemplar companies from the Social Economy to become part of the DTI's Inside UK Enterprise (IUKE) programme. The programme was developed for other UK companies to visit and learn from the experience of successful businesses from a variety of different sectors. It later became the Social Enterprise Visit Programme.
The company is an approved trainig provider of the Learning and Skills Council and has delivered over £8 million of publicly funded projects and contracts in the Humber delivering all projects within budgets and to target.
